We offer our Residents the necessary support to lead happy, self-directed lives.

At the present time, we are seeking an experienced Painter/Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the prestigious appearance of our community. Will be painting, staining and touching up high traffic areas that may not be accessed during the day.

This is a part time position, flexible schedule needed.  May include a weekend shift.


  • Applies paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces
  • Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
  • Mix and match paints and varnishes
  • Estimate time and materials required on widely varied assignments
  • Follow Materials Safety Data Sheets ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines as appropriate
  • Assist with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, furniture assembly, snow removal, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, HVAC 


  • Experience with residential, commercial/industrial practices and processes of the painting trade
  • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade to include: paints, varnishes, lacquers, enamels, epoxies, paint removers, and related materials
  • Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal
  • Skill in the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials to a wide variety of surfaces( Interior and exterior experience preferred)
  • A proven ability to paint in a clean, precise manner
  • You must be an independent worker possessing the ability to handle a job from start to finish
  • Previous maintenance/repair experience a plus
  • Kind, patient and compassionate demeanor when dealing with Residents, Family Members and management
  • Must have stable work history and solid work references
  • A minimum of a high school diploma
