At the present time we have needs for a Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy dining area. In this critical role you will supervise the functionality of the dining room for both the Resident population and the Bristal staff. You must provide a positive, up-scale first impression and ensure residents receive prompt, courteous and efficient service. You will be responsible to schedule the staff and provide in-services to ensure the dining room runs flawlessly.

Additional responsibilities include:

·Supervise, schedule and direct wait staff and bus staff on the assigned shift.

·Assign station to wait staff.

·Ensure that all dining room systems are functional before, during and after meals.

·Constantly observes food delivery, table satisfaction and bussing procedures.

·Maintain safety standards at all times.

·Respond to complaints from Residents/Guests and resolve in a positive manner.

·Inform Director of any complaints or problems.

·Inspect all dining room personnel for proper uniforms, nametags and hairstyle.

The schedule includes one weekend day per week.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/qualifications:

·Must have previous experience in dining room management, supervision, and staff scheduling

·Experience in a high end restaurant or fine dining establishment with upscale clientele a plus

·Strong ability to multi-task and solve problems

·Exceptional team building and leadership skills

·Ability to stand for long periods of time

·Bending, kneeling and lifting on a regular basis

·Some exposure to heat in the kitchen

· Must be able to work one weekend day each week
